Generate Payroll Statement
From the sidebar click on Payrolls > View payrolls. The Payrolls page will show up.
Click on Generate Payroll. The payroll statement details page will show up, and it includes several data fields (click the button below to learn more about them).
Payroll statement data
Name: Payroll statement name. The name you enter here will be visible to all employees.
Pay period: The period covered by the payroll. Overtime hours, offences deductions, and unpaid leave deductions will be calculated based on the pay period.
Calculate overtime by: If this option is enabled, overtime pay will be calculated at the specified rate.
Example: Let's say the hourly wage is 50, and the overtime rate is 1.5, then the overtime hourly rate will be 75.
Minimum overtime minutes for one attendance record: This field sets the minimum minutes to be counted for overtime in each attendance record.
Example: Suppose this field has the value 30 minutes, and an employee logged 20 minutes of overtime in one attendance record. In this case, these minutes won't be counted since they are below the minimum, which is 30 minutes.
Additional settings: Extra settings that give you the option to specify a different overtime rate for holidays and let you filter which employees show up in the payroll statement.
Fill in the payroll statement info, then hit Next. The payroll statement will show up so you can make changes before issuing it.
Make whatever changes you need, then click:
Issue button to issue the payroll statement.
Save as draft to save the payroll statement as a modifiable draft for later. The Save as draft options page will show up, so you can pick between two options:
Save as hidden draft: The payroll statement will be saved as a hidden draft without showing payslips to employees.
Save as draft: The payroll statement will be saved as a draft and payslips will show for each employee.
Back button to return to the payroll info page
1. Its status will become Paid, and you won't be able to edit or delete it after that. Each employee will see their payslip.
2. All offences recorded within the scope of the payroll will have their status changed to Paid.
3. Attendance records logged within the scope of the payroll will no longer be editable.
