Cancelling (delete or mark as petitioned) an offence affects the Repetition column for the following offences, and this changes the amount of the deduction.
Example: Let's say the value of the Repetition Period field in the Offences Rules table is 180 days. And let's say an employee was absent 5 times in the last 180 days as in the table below:
# | Offence | Date | Repetition | Status |
1 | Absence | 10-06-2025 | 5 | Unpaid |
2 | Absence | 09-06-2025 | 4 | Unpaid |
3 | Absence | 08-06-2025 | 3 | Unpaid |
4 | Absence | 07-06-2025 | 2 | Unpaid |
5 | Absence | 06-06-2025 | 1 | Unpaid |
Let’s say you mark offence#3 as petitioned. That would affect offence #1 and offence#2 as follows:
# | Violation | Date | Repetition | Status |
1 | Absence | 10-06-2025 | 4 | Unpaid |
2 | Absence | 09-06-2025 | 3 | Unpaid |
3 | Absence | 08-06-2025 | 3 | Petitioned |
4 | Absence | 07-06-2025 | 2 | Unpaid |
5 | Absence | 06-06-2025 | 1 | Unpaid |
